Every student who meets academic eligibility requirements may not be admitted to the co-op stream. Admission Procedures Submit proof of admission requirements. Final selection is made following an assessment of the admission requirements.
Program Requirements Students in this program are required to bring a mobile device that meets minimum specified requirements. Through independent study, students will also cover curriculum for seven 7 of the International Computer Driving Licence ICDL modules in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation applications.
Fees will be collected to enable students to write seven 7 ICDL examinations.
Academic eligibility for a co-op work term is based on the term that occurs two terms prior to any work term. Students who do not successfully complete their deferred work term will be removed from the co-op stream.
Students who are discontinued are not eligible for co-op work terms. Students must maintain academic eligibility standards in order to participate in a co-op work term. As well, students must successfully complete the required co-op program prerequisites to be eligible for co-op.
